About
The Artist
I have loved art all my life,
but my training as an artist has come in bits and pieces.
As a child I was
always the artist in the classroom; as an adolescent I took what classes
were available to me, and I was the art editor of my high school’s
yearbook.
In college I experimented in courses both in
studio art and in art history.
More recently, I have studied drawing, illustration,
collage, watercolor, weaving, and oil painting at various venues in the
Boston area.
Yet, ultimately,
I believe that my most valuable art education has come from two time honored
methods: the countless hours that I have spent learning on my own, and my
lessons and critiques with master painter Marian Dioguardi. |
